About the Program: True Love Waits: Chasing Love - is a faith-based initiative designed to help young people understand the importance of purity in relationships, grounded in biblical principles. This program encourages students to make a commitment to honor God with their bodies and relationships, providing them with resources to navigate the challenges of a Christ-centered life.
Age Requirements: This program is open to students ages 12-18. Parents and guardians are encouraged to engage in discussions at home to reinforce the principles taught in the program. A SIGNED WAIVER is mandatory for student participation. Please sign the waiver below.

For the True Love Waits – Chasing Love program:
- KYM Kids (ages 12-14) will have their own small group.
- SHIFT Teens (ages 15-18) will have a separate small group.
- Additionally, boys and girls will be split into their own groups to create a more focused and comfortable environment for discussion.

- Session 1: Trust God: In session one, our teachers will challenge students to trust God’s plan for love, sex, and relationships, even though it doesn’t align with the way the world sees it. They’ll help students trust that God’s plan is for our good.
2. Session 2: True Freedom—In session two, Our teachers will share that true freedom is not doing whatever you want without restraint but living according to God’s design.
3. Session 3: Real Love—In session three, We will look to Scripture to find a definition of real love. Our teachers will explain what real love looks like and how to practice it in your daily life.
4. Session 4: God’s Grace—In session four, We’ll delve into the reality of God’s grace. They’ll help students understand that God stands ready to forgive and restore them no matter how they may have failed or struggled in the past.
5. Session 5: God’s Design—In session five, Our teachers will explain God’s design for sex. They’ll help students see that God’s good design for sex is one man and one woman, uniting their lives in marriage for one lifetime.
6. Session 6: Relationship Status—In session 6, We’ll dive into the nature of relationships and how God can use people, whether they are single or married. Both have great value to God’s kingdom.
7. Session 7: LGBTQ Issues —In session 7, We’ll discuss the issues surrounding people who identify as LGBTQ. They’ll reveal God’s design and God’s redemptive plan for people who may have struggles or temptations in these areas.
8. Session 8: Abuse and Pornography—In session 8, Our teachers will examine the damage caused by sexual abuse and pornography as well as the healing God can bring.
9. Session 9: The Challenge—In session 9, the final session of Chasing Love, we’ll answer some important questions about sex, relationships, and LGBTQ issues, and our teachers will encourage us to remember that God enables us to live faithfully.
